Seed paper is paper that has seeds embedded within it at the pulling process.
Paper is made with 100% post consumer recycled scrap just like normal; seeds are simply added to the paper pulp before forming the sheets on the mold.
Seed paper can be used for any business stationery or paper product that we offer.
Our seeds are so small that they are barely visible within the paper and thus are safe to go through the printer without being damaged.

How many seeds per item?
That's a great question!
Let's do the maths together shall we.
There are generally 3 different varieties together in a blend. Each of these varieties has on average 500 seeds per packet.
We use a whole packet of each per batch of 10 A1 Sheets.
That's 1500 Seeds.
1500 seeds divided by 20 sheets of paper
(A1 is cut into printable A2)
=75 seeds per sheet
Depending on your stationery item size, we can get
15-45 items per sheet.
So, you are looking at
2-5 seeds per card.
Perfect for your customers gardens!

How to Start your Seeds
1. Sew seeds into soil at the depth indicated on the variety information above.
2. Keep soil moist but never wet or dry.
3. Be patient. Some seeds will take longer to germinate than others. Germination should take 1-4 weeks depending on variety and weather.
4. Protect seeds and young seedlings from pests, pets & weather.
In warm weather or when sewing small seeds it can sometimes be difficult to keep the soil moist. A good trick is to cover the soil with plastic or paper until germination occurs;this keeps the moisture from evaporating.
As soon as seeds germinate, remove cover.
*We buy only enough seeds for two batches of paper; this is too avoid unnecessary germination losses due to time.
*Where possible, store your seed paper stationery in a cool dark location.
